POMOLOCK is a focus timer and app blocker for iPhone. This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use the app, why it is used, and the choices available to you.
Short version
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not use third-party advertising networks or track you across other companies' apps and websites.
- Your task list and detailed focus history are primarily stored on your device.
- Some anonymous technical, purchase, notification, and aggregate focus data may be processed to run and improve the app.
Information POMOLOCK may process
Depending on the features you use, POMOLOCK may process focus session data, task titles, timer settings, streaks, daily goals, app preferences, notification preferences, selected app blocking categories, premium status, app version, build number, locale, timezone, crash diagnostics, and basic app usage events.
On-device data
Your tasks, timer settings, focus sessions, streaks, app blocking settings, and widget state are stored on your device or in the app's Apple app group storage so the app, widgets, Live Activities, and blocking extension can work. Local focus session history may be limited by the app to keep storage practical.
App blocking and Screen Time permissions
POMOLOCK uses Apple's Screen Time, Family Controls, Device Activity, and Managed Settings technologies to let you select apps, categories, or web domains to block during focus sessions. These selections are used to apply blocking rules. POMOLOCK does not use these permissions to read your messages, contacts, photos, precise location, or browsing contents.
Analytics, diagnostics, and cloud services
POMOLOCK may use Firebase services for anonymous authentication, crash reporting, analytics, remote configuration, push notification delivery, and limited cloud sync of app status such as notification preferences, premium state, app version, locale, timezone, installation identifier, notification token, total focus minutes, session count, current streak, and last focus completion time. These services help operate the app, diagnose issues, understand app reliability, and improve the product.
Purchases and subscriptions
If you purchase premium features, purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple and may be managed through RevenueCat. POMOLOCK may receive purchase status, subscription status, product identifiers, and related technical information needed to unlock premium features and restore purchases.
How we use information
- To provide Pomodoro timers, task planning, focus insights, widgets, Live Activities, notifications, and app blocking.
- To save your preferences and maintain premium access.
- To send timer alerts, streak reminders, and product updates when you allow them.
- To diagnose crashes, measure reliability, prevent abuse, and improve app performance.
- To respond to support, privacy, or billing-related requests.
Third-party services
POMOLOCK may use Apple services, Firebase, and RevenueCat. These providers process information only as needed to provide app functionality, purchases, analytics, diagnostics, notifications, and related infrastructure.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help operate the app, comply with law, protect rights and security, or respond to support requests.
Retention and deletion
Local app data remains on your device until you delete it in the app, reset relevant settings, or uninstall POMOLOCK. Cloud-linked technical, analytics, notification, purchase, or support data is retained only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law, security, fraud prevention, accounting, or legitimate operational needs.
You can request deletion of support or cloud-linked app data by emailing bariscoskundev@gmail.com.
Your choices
- You can disable notifications in POMOLOCK or in iOS Settings.
- You can revoke Screen Time or app blocking permissions from iOS Settings.
- You can stop using widgets or Live Activities from iOS system controls.
- You can delete local data by deleting the app from your device.
- You can contact support to request access, correction, or deletion of eligible cloud-linked data.
Children
POMOLOCK is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate consent. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
International processing
Information may be processed in countries other than your own by the developer or service providers used to operate POMOLOCK.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as POMOLOCK changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
